Kassidy (age 7) made these paper dolls after looking through the DC Vault book I got for Christmas.

Kassidy is a big fan of the girls from the old 80's comics Batman and the Outsiders. She picked out a few of these old comics from the dollar boxes at our closest comic book shop.

Purple and black ballerina.

Drawn by Kassidy (age 6) in October 2008. What I find interesting about this is that Kassidy shows that she is spinning by showing the back of the dancer. This is the first time I've seen her use this trick. I'm also just amazed by the composition and design. It has a strength energy to it that I would have to spend a lot of time trying to capture. Kids get that kind of thing naturally because they are not burdened by any kind of commitment to trying to nail the anatomy.
